One Of Those

So yeah it's one of those...

It's a 2:30 AM blog post. For one I can't sleep just yet. Of course I realize my addiction for the internet, facebook, gmail, etc is completely and utterly out of control lol. With that said here I am posting away.

Today was a healthy day. Not so much food wise, food wise actually was a terrible day, shameful even. Healthy as in an emotional state. Mark and I went to see "The Change Up". We highly recommend this movie. Totally laugh out loud funny with quite of bit of raunchy humor. I won't give anything away but if you like "Bridesmaids", "The Hangover Part 1 & 2", etc it's a must see movie on the list. Definitely not for the kiddie's though. Straight afterwards we picked up Andrew for his session with the infamous Dr.D. Our partial miracle worker. Highly recommend him for an ear to listen if you need it. Anyhow Andrew unfortunately due to his high anxiety, lack of meds right now was just how do I put it delicately? Well he was just plain difficult. Didn't talk much, wouldn't answer questions, and the list can go on, and on, and on...Literally it could. Mark and I just kept discussing all the possibilities of what the issues could be. He is a temperamental child really, always has been. We decided he needed some one on one time. With that being said we treated him to dinner (Of his choice) & a movie (again his choice) with just the TWO of us. Now this is a rare treat for the kids and we are taking every advantage of Mark's Mom still being here with us. Not abusing it, but taking and loving fully the benefits of "living" near a grandparent...not really her living in her own seperate space but you guys get the jist. He loved it. We ate at Golden Corral (see food choices not so healthy), and seen a long movie. Hopefully it brightened his spirits up! I know it certainly did ours.

Today is really a big day for me. With the support of my Husband and my family I know things will work out well. I won't reveal anything just yet, maybe this weekend, maybe next week or even in a month or two. But I am sure I will talk about it here eventually. Until next time.

Beach Day

Beach Day's are always a welcome site. When the weather isn't too hot, the breeze is just right, and the water is a perfect temperature for boogie boarding.

Yip

So again my poor blog suffers the rath of a busy life I guess...well maybe not THAT busy but a dash of lazy too lol. But really my schedule will be getting nice and busy here soon especially with school starting back up for the kids in less than 19 days. WoW 19 days...That went by fast. With PTA meetings, board meetings, general meetings, events coming up, planning, planning and more planning along the way this up coming school year will be GREAT, GREAT I SAY!!!

So on to some other things going on in our house. FINALLY going home for the first time in 6 long years. Sure I've seen my Mom every year since we've moved to the east coast. But it's not the same as going HOME. You know the place that you feel comfortable, that you long for, what makes you a little home sick. So I am finally doing it. Getting on that plane, flying across the country and going home. To gorge myself on carne asada fries, taquitos, korean dishes I can't even spell in english oh yeah and visit friends {giggles} lol. I am looking forward to it. Even though crashing on my Mom's sofa isn't too appealing I will deal for the price of the food { & Friends } haha. Last "alone" moment before my husband leaves us for a year.

Yup you read it right leaving, deployed, see you later, talk to you on Skype, letters that take weeks to arrive, care packages, cry in my pillow to fall asleep till you return home, missed phone calls, leaving. All the things I am sure to do and maybe even a few things I haven't mentioned either. The sacrifices we make for our country and freedoms. Thinking about this day is depressing enough and it is soon to be a reality.

Enough with the mushy stuff right?
Lots and lots planned really. Hopefully we will be kept so busy missing him won't take over and cause us chaos.
I do think I have some goals though for when he is gone which are always good to have, right?

{Goals}
-
finish getting the rest of this weight off

-
clean out all the cabinets and get rid of ALL the junk

-
clean out all the closets

-
re-do the master bedroom

-
make some fall/halloween decorations for inside and outside the house

-
blogging challenge (after I count out the days Mark will be gone)

-
Visit Carrie & the boys and do not only MY kids fall pics but her boy's as well.

- get more clients for photography

I have tons more to put up but this might take all night =)
Stay tuned, things are probably going to get very interesting.

facial care

Facial care routines...Important? Not so Important?
I know for myself being a 32 yr old woman my skin care routine is becoming more and more important and I as I look at the mirror on a daily basis and realizing all my imperfections I've decided I DO need to make the effort to be more "routine" than I have been in the the past. My Mother (yes my Mom was right about something that I am willing to admit at least) has recommended a new-ish product from a company called NU SKIN oh I just LOVE this stuff. Here is a look into my skin care...

Photobucket
This is Morning/Evening cleanser, toner, & eye cream
These products I use DAY & Night

Photobucket
This is for during the day. Wash, toner, day creme (with SPF 15) and then another SPF 30 -SPF is VERY important these days!

Photobucket

These items the cellatrex and night cream are for evening only

I've recently have been more diligent about all my body care needs. I is important to take care of one self. Soooo on that note while I am "sharing" I am going to share some of my favorites =)

Photobucket
I love this deodorant. Not only does it smell good and with a hint of tropical scent it really WORKS.

Photobucket
This is my new favorite scent along with this one
Photobucket
This one also smells FAB-U-LOUS and is long lasting in moisture & scent

Are there any favorites anyone else wants to share? A MUST have? Let me know! I love trying new products!

Lazy Afternoon

We just love lazy afternoons in this house. Find time to take a nap, snuggle with the loved ones, play with the kids. Here is a small glimpse into our lazy afternoons...

Wish every day could be like this!

Almost 7

I can't believe our "baby" is almost 7 yrs old. She is just 13 days away from turning the big 7. This year she has chosen to accept $100 in cash to spend rather than a birthday party. We decided to do some casual pics and they turned out great! We still need to get her Birthday outfit and do some official Birthday pictures which yes I am late on this year but what's the rush right?

She is such a Bright and Charming little girl, couldn't of asked for a better gift.

Happy Birthday to ME

My daughter is so sweet and thoughtful. She made this for me a day early!

Photobucket
have to love children's eagerness for Birthdays

Photobucket

I heart my Children!

I heart books

It's so hard to find the time to read these days. So when I do read it's usually something frivolous for me. Something I really enjoy. These aren't all the books I have sitting around the house but the ones I plan on finishing within the next couple months =)

Bed time giggles

I just love how close my three kids are. They make me so thankful that not only we have 3 beautiful healthy children, which we are truly blessed with, but having them just shy of two years apart was a great choice. It was what worked for us and turning out to be all that we hoped for. I am hoping and wishing with all my might they stay as close when they are adults as they are now.

This is Caleb hiding from her dear Mother who wants some pics lol

With lots of night time giggles they finally settled down and went to sleep

Cupcakes anyone?

Well I will be honest I was craving cupcakes. So I get some ingredients together at the store and completely realized I forgot oil...So I am searching the internet since I had no desire to go back out and found some substitutes...Boy I am so glad I ran out oil! I made amazingly moist cupcakes with Vanilla Coke Zero!

AWESOME!

I also made my own frosting although it called for plain powder non creamer again this is where laziness kicked in. The frosting is more on the vanilla caramel side since that is what I had LOL. Lessoned Learned but they are still yummy!

Photobucket
Now I have a pic of the diet coke can. You can use it as well. It's one full can to replace the oil. The batter does come out a little thinner but does bake up nicely.

Photobucket
I had an amazing sue-chef

Photobucket
The batter tasted pretty good too lol

Photobucket
He did all the mini cupcakes

Photobucket
He loves helping me bake!

Photobucket
Ready to put them in the oven!

Photobucket
They look DELICIOUS!

Photobucket
These are the regular sized ones
The batter made 2 dozen regular sized
and 2 dozen mini's
